Challenge
The textile industry is under increasing pressure to adopt sustainable, circular practices, yet it remains heavily reliant on polluting non‑renewable filaments. High investment and a fragmented value chain slow progress toward greener alternatives.
Solution
In CELLFIL we develop biodegradable, bio‑based Lyocell filaments to replace synthetic fibers by optimizing the entire textile production process and validating their versatility across nine applications to support a circular textile economy.
Impact
In CELLFIL we create low‑impact, circular textile solutions that cut waste, reduce pollution, and meet growing demand for sustainable materials.
